About the Journal

Islamic Law and Contemporary Issues is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by CV Global Research Publication, dedicated to advancing the study of Islamic law and contemporary issues in modern society. The journal publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, literature reviews, and critical studies covering Islamic law, Islamic economic law, uṣūl al-fiqh, maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, fatwas and ijtihad, Islamic family law, religious courts, Islamic finance, digital technology, environmental issues, as well as contemporary social, economic, and legal challenges from Islamic perspectives. The journal aims to serve as a platform for the dissemination of knowledge and the development of Islamic legal thought that is responsive to contemporary dynamics through academic, interdisciplinary, and maslahat-oriented approaches. Islamic Law and Contemporary Issues is published quarterly in January, April, July, and October, and accepts manuscripts in Indonesian, English, and Arabic.
